Two packages with the same headline price can cover different things. Use this worksheet with the provider’s written quote to compare the cost for the same travelers and departure. You can use it before downloading the app.
Enter quoted amounts in one currency. Extra costs per person cover items outside the package; shared costs cover your whole group. Enter 0 only when a cost is confirmed as zero. Blank fields mean the total is still unknown.
Group total = (package price + extras per person) × travelers + shared costs. Per-traveler estimates are rounded to two decimal places. This worksheet assumes the same per-person price for everyone; calculate differing child, room or traveler rates separately.
Your entries stay in this page’s memory. They are not saved or sent to a provider. These are your estimates, not live quotes, currency conversions or booking confirmations.
Compare the same departure date and count nights at the destination. Ask for arrival and departure times: a five-day package can leave less sightseeing time when the first and last days are mostly travel.
Ask whether the quoted amount assumes a shared room and whether the same rate applies to every traveler. Confirm single-room supplements, child rates and the named accommodation before putting the price into the worksheet.
Get the baggage allowance, airport transfers and local transport in writing. Put a charge that applies to each traveler under extra costs; put one vehicle charge for the whole group under shared costs. Count each charge once.
A place appearing in the itinerary does not by itself tell you whether admission, a guide or a meal is paid for. Ask the provider to list what is included, what is optional and what you must pay locally.
Before payment, request the total for your actual travelers and options, the payment schedule and the cancellation or change terms. If a charge is still unknown, leave it blank rather than treating the package as cheaper.
Save the provider name, package, departure, agreed services and final price with your booking confirmation. Browsing ReactHive or opening the app does not itself confirm availability or a reservation.
